Hello Muskie Supporter,
I hope your fall is off to a great start! The Muskingum football team had a really nice win to kick off the season on the road beating Mt. St. Joseph 42-35! We snapped MSJ’s 14 game home winning streak and knocked off the team picked to win the Heartland Conference. The energy is high as we head into our OAC and home opener this Saturday against Otterbein at Noon. We would love to see you there. Our homecoming game this year is a big one—against Marietta on October 19th at 7:00 pm. We have had some unbelievable atmosphere’s at our homecoming games the past couple of years and I hope to see as many of you there again!
We would love your continued support to help give our student-athletes a great experience. We do many team building activities (multiple cook outs, gatherings, bowling, movies) and we try to take care of our players as best we can with apparel. New for college football this year is the allowed use of sideline video equipment (IPADs) to review film in game. We are looking for help with the cost of the new technology and to continue to recruit at a high level.
We are proud of our student-athletes and we always appreciate our Muskie supporters! We are looking forward to a great season.
